Well we are pretty certain London is a go this year so I better keep everyone up to date .
The running hasn’t really stopped but I did have a few weeks of no running at all in the middle of May and had a quiet relaxed Easy June . I have decided to follow the London Marathon improver training plan and so far been fairly diligently following it although some of the runs have been a little longer than the plan says I have kept to the type of run,so if it’s meant to be an easy run I’ve not gone out and ran a 55min 10k . The hope is I can get my goal of a sub 4hr marathon .
I’m into Week 3 of the training plan and this week is meant to be and easy week to let the legs get used to workloads . The runs maybe be a bit longer in time than the plan as I’ve got the higher base but as of next week the intensity picks up with intervals thrown in .
